Egg Tofu with Sizzling Chinese Style
Hi Assalamualaikum.
I'm back again (suddenly have some free time) to update my blog. Today I want to share some super duper simple recipe that I love. I bet everyone know the simple recipe. Usually I will cook the cuisine during weekend or if I feel like I want to bring cooked food during my office hour.
So ya, presenting my next (not so hebat mana pun) recipe. Hehehe
Egg Tofu with Sizzling Chinese Style
Ingredients Needed:
The Main Character :
Egg Tofu - 3 pcs *cut it sliced not too thin
Corn Starch
All below item must be minced / smashed :
Red Onion - 2 pcs
Garlic - 3 pcs
Ginger - a litte bit (1 cm)
Red Chili - 1 pcs
Cili Api - 2 (if you like it spicy)
Chicken - Fillet
Chives / Scallion
For Seasoning:
Salt & Sugar
Light Soy Sauce - 3 tbsp
Cooking Caramel - 1 tbsp
Oyster Sauce - 1 ts
Sesame Oil - 1 ts
Fish Sauce - 1 ts
Water - 100ml
Cornstarch water - 3 tbsp
Method:
1) Coat the sliced egg tofu with salt & cornstarch
2) Fry them in a pan with small amount of cooking oil
3) Fry until golden brown and set aside in a plate
4) In a same pan, pour some oil for sauté
5) Stir-fry the minced onion, garlic & ginger until golden brown.
*The scallion / chives better put at the end of the process.
5) Put chili & chicken
6) Put all the seasoning together and stir evenly for few minutes until fully cooked.
7) Ready to serve and ready to eat with fragrant jasmine rice. Enjoy
This is how it looks like after you fry them with cornstarch & a bit salt.
